It has been widely used in the production of rods, wire rods, rebars, and seamless steel tubes, etc. And it usually has different grooves on the surface, we need to choose the special tools for machining these grooves.

(1) When the diameter is larger than 4mm, the size can be 4.5,5.5 or any size as customers’ requirements, we ususlly use pcd tips, please check the following image:
