PCD Notching Tools for Tungsten Carbide Rings/Rolls

As we all know,Tungsten Carbide Rings belong to a type Hard alloy roll,it has good abrasive resistance and high impact resistance. It has been widely used in the production of rods, wire rods, rebars, and seamless steel tubes, etc. And it usually has different grooves on the surface, we need to choose the special tools for machining these grooves.  

PCD Notching Tools can be the right choice for milling these grooves, the following is some images:

It can be divided into about 2 types:

(1) When the diameter is larger than 4mm, the size can be 4.5,5.5 or any size as customers’ requirements, we ususlly use pcd tips, please check the following image:

(2) When the diameter is smaller than 4mm, which can be about 2.5mm,2.7mm,3.2mm,we usually make it with full top face, the following image for reference:
